Tempest Shield

Tempest Shield is a Attack spell that produces an invulnerable shield for one minute that acts like any other equipped shield. However, this will release a powerful wind burst when the time ends if the shield is raised, knocking nearby foes to the ground. It can be invaluable before the player has access to stronger shields such as the iron shield, since most stronger attacks will still pierce damage through shields before that, while the Tempest Shield will still fully protect the user even when barehanded (provided they are blocking). It is recommended to always cast it before an encounter (as there is usually scarcely time to cast it once already in battle), as it can often be the difference between a close fight or an easy one. The invulnerability and knockdown can be vital in gaining an opening on an opponent, and using it even when not engaging with melee can be advisable, to leave open the option to back away on low hitpoints with a safe frontal shield.
