# Ranged

Ranged is one of the skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds, is one of the three combat styles, and was released in 0.9. Fighting monsters using ranged combat levels a player's Ranged to gain various bonuses that enhance their effectiveness with the skill. Players use Ranged weapons in combat to earn Ranged experience. The higher the tier of the weapons and ammo used, the higher the base damage and, thus, the more experience earned. In addition, players can gain experience from Ranged Skill Tomes and special reward tomes like the Tome of the Dragon Slayer.
