# Magic

Magic is one of the skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds and was released in Update 0.8. Magic is one of the three combat styles players can use. Combat spells can be cast to efficiently fight monsters from a distance, whereas utility spells have numerous uses. In addition, players can gain experience from Magic Skill Tomes and special reward tomes like the Tome of the Dragon Slayer.
