# Attack

Attack is one of the skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds and is one of the three combat styles. Fighting monsters using melee combat levels a player's Attack to gain various bonuses that enhance their effectiveness with the skill. Players can either use their unarmed fists or melee weapons while in combat to earn Attack experience. The higher the tier of the weapon, the higher the base damage, and thus the more experience earned. To effectively combat, see Attack/Strategies for more details. In addition, players can gain experience from Attack Skill Tomes or from special reward tomes like the Tome of the Dragon Slayer.
