# Afterimage

Afterimage is a perk unlocked at level 25 Magic, leaving behind an illusory image for 10 seconds after using the first Surge charge. This will allow the player to avoid strikes, as the enemy will strike the illusory image instead. After 10 seconds, the enemy will lock on to the player. When equipping the Zamorak Cape, it provides a special attack where the afterimage can explode and cause burning damage when it expires.
