# Hunter Stagbow

The hunter stagbow is a power level 4 longbow that can be crafted at a fletching bench. The recipe is learned by consuming a string of sinew, a vestige dropped by garou hunters with a 3/100 drop chance. It can be ascended at the mystic forge using ascension cores. Its special effect is 10% increased draw speed, making this weapon draw faster than other longbows. Currently, the effect is listed as "+10% Draw Time" which makes it sound like it draws slower, but previously the effect was called "+10% Draw Time Reduction" which, although being a bit of a mouthful, was at least correct. This weapon also has higher base damage than other longbows, but it increases far more than others when ascended, to the point where it has more than 50% higher base damage than other longbows at power level 7. For reference, it has 152 at power level 7 while the bow of Elidinis has 102 and Ulv's longbow only has 100. That combined with its faster draw speed makes this is the ideal longbow to ascend, but that massively increased base damage may not be intended.
