# Blurite Crossbow

The blurite crossbow is a power level 4 crossbow that can be crafted at a fletching bench. The recipe is learned after studying the azure metal contraption found in a chest in northwest Fractured Plains. It can be ascended at a mystic forge using ascension cores. Its special effect is -25% Reload Duration, making it reload faster than other crossbows. It also lists -25% durability, but it has the same amount as an iron crossbow. The dorgeshuun crossbow can only fire bone bolts, so if specifically wanting to fire metal or enchanted bolts, this is one of the best options to do so. The shadow crossbow's special effect is 15% increased damage to weakpoints, which is a multiplicative modifier when considering weakpoints, 3/3 ranged armour, and the amulet of glory, but it fires slower than normal crossbows, making it much slower than this or the dorgeshuun crossbow. One of the benefits of crossbows is the flinch they cause on each hit, and the faster crossbows will do that more often.
