# Chat

Chat is a communication feature between players in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Players can see messages sent by others across any distance, and at least all standard alphanumeric characters are allowed. The game will automatically announce when any player joins, leaves, or dies on the server. In addition, the chat interface only allows public chats; players cannot perform private chats with each other.
